Support for Singer Songwriters

I Thought it only right to mention my friends at The Musicians' Union

The Musicians' Union of the United Kingdom is the second largest musicians' trade union in the world. It was founded in 1893 and represents the interests of working musicians in Britain.

The Musicians’ Union is  respected around the world which represents over thirty two thousand musicians working in all sectors of the music business.

Without the Musicians' Union  as a unsigned Artist I would have had very little support or knowledge in dealing with all of the Business aspects of being a female Singer Songwriter

The Musicians' Union via my membership offer me ongoing support in Legal Advice,Instrument insurance and Full Liability cover and all this for  £4 a week!

Yes I know I sound like a sales ad but its shocking how many artists come unstuck with dodgy record labels or venues.  There are some great people in the Music Industry but there are just as many if more nasties just waiting to pray on the vulnerable.

And if my ranting just gets one artist out there to join the Musicians' Union and gets support and advice that they need so that they do not get ripped off then this article was worth writing.
